Terms of Sale: By placing an order, you are offering to purchase a product on and
subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders are subject to
availability and confirmation of the order price.
Dispatch times may vary according
to availability and subject to any delays resulting from postal or freight
carrier delays or force majeure for which we will not be responsible.
In order to contract with Thin
Metal Parts LLC/Fine Line Imaging you must be of legal age in the country from
which you intend to request a quotation or place your order. Thin Metal Parts
LLC/Fine Line Imaging retains the right to refuse any request made by you. When
placing an order, you represent that all details you provide to us are true and
accurate, that you are an authorized user of the credit or debit card used to
place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the
goods, or that you are a duly authorized representative of the company or
university from which the order will be placed.
(a) Our Contract
When you place an order through
the Website or by e-mail, you will receive an acknowledgement by e-mail to
confirm our receipt of your order. This email will only be an acknowledgement
only, and will not necessarily constitute acceptance of your order. A contract
between us will not be formed until we send you confirmation by e-mail that the
goods which you ordered have been dispatched to you. Only those goods listed in
the confirmation e-mail sent at the time of dispatch will be included in the
contract formed.
(b) Pricing and Availability
While we try and ensure that all
details, descriptions and prices which appear on the Website are accurate,
errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you
have ordered, we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the
option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we
are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. If your order
is cancelled and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full
refund.
(c) Shipping
Shipping costs that we prepay and
add to the invoice will be charged in addition; such additional charges are
clearly displayed where applicable and included in the 'Total,' 'Total Cost', 'Total Quote', or 'Total
Price'[1] . We can also have the shipping costs billed via the freight
carrier to either the recipient or to an authorized third party. For
international shipments, any import fees, duties, or taxes, will be collected
by the freight carrier upon delivery of the package.
(d) Payment by credit card
Upon receiving your credit card
order, we may carry out a standard authorization check on your payment card to
ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfill the transaction. Your card will be
debited upon authorization being received. The monies received upon the
debiting of your card shall be treated as a deposit against the value of the
goods you wish to purchase. Once the goods have been dispatched and you have
been sent a confirmation email the monies paid as a deposit shall be used as
consideration for the value of goods you have purchased as listed in the
confirmation email.
Alternatively, we may e-mail you
a link that you can use to make your payment online via an encrypted website
provided by our merchant services provider. Such payment must be completed
before your order can be fulfilled.
(e) Payment on credit terms
After receipt of your Purchase
Order and upon shipment of your order, we will send you our invoice either by
e-mail or by the US Postal Service. Your payment will be due according to the
terms shown on the invoice. Shipment and billing will be implemented exactly as
shown on the purchase order, unless we are made aware that the buyer whose name
appears on the purchase order authorizes a change in writing or by e-mail.
(f) Payment by wire transfer
We accept payment by wire
transfer. Upon request, details required for such wire transfers may be
provided. Orders requiring pre-payment will not be shipped until the transfer
of funds into our bank account has been verified.
(g) Protection of credit card
data
We take the utmost care to protect
and secure all confidential data, and we work diligently to maintain compliance
with PCI Credit Card Security Standards (as detailed at https://www.pcisecuritystandards.org/).
We cannot be held liable for situations in which confidential data is leaked
when it is provided to us via insecure channels, such as unencrypted email or
unencrypted email attachments. If we receive such data, we will secure it
immediately so that it is not redistributed by us in any way.
(h) Refunds and Returns
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. No returns are accepted. No refunds are
granted. However, under certain extreme or extenuating circumstances, Thin
Metal Parts LLC/Fine Line Imaging may, after inquiry by the purchaser, grant a
whole or partial refund and may accept returns and may provide replacement
products – if we determine within 10 business days after you receive your
product that a manufacturing error was made on our part. However, Thin Metal Parts LLC/Fine Line
Imaging reserves the right to deny any request for return of and/or refund for
goods sold. The granting of refunds and
returns shall be at the complete and sole discretion of Thin Metal Parts
LLC/Fine Line Imaging.[2]

the measures implemented by us reduce the likelihood of security problems to a
level appropriate to the type of data involved, we do not promise or guarantee,
and you should not expect, that your PII or private communications will always
remain private.
DATA RETENTION
We generally keep user data on our server or in our archives for as long as we
reasonably need it. We may alter this practice according to changing
requirements. For example, we may delete some data if needed to free up storage
space. We may keep other data for longer periods if the law requires it or if
we determine it is in our business interests to do so. In addition, information
posted in a public forum could stay in the public domain indefinitely.
Requests for information are administered in an orderly manner to
the extent feasible where information is within our direct control. Please note
that we have greater control over recently collected data than over archived
data. Once data is removed from the system and archived, it may not be feasible
to accommodate specific requests. In those cases, our general data retention
policy applies and such data is maintained for as long as we reasonably need
it.
